Journal #1 (8.28.17)

i think my classes are pretty fun and really challenging. i have Honors english and its a lot more difficult than regular english. i also have AP world history and there is so much more work than i used to.

My Favorite class is probably english. its my favorite because i have a lot of fun people in that class ans we're always doing something interesting. i also like it because i really like to write and id really like to get better at it.

Building my website was really easy. especially because we already had one before and we only had a change a few things. But organizing it and keeping a theme is pretty hard.

i dont think i have a "cool" photo only because e havent really taken any and the ones i did take are kind of basic. they're the same as everybody elses.

Im interested in Landscape and portrait photography. im interested in landscape photography because there is a lot of beauty in the world and i want to be able to capture it. especially in sun rises and sunsets. its also the same in portraits, i want to be able to capture beuty in people who dont believe theyre beautiful themselves.

i plan to go to California with my parents over labor day weekend. We're going to go visit my older sister and nephew and go visit family and friends. We're also going to go eat to the places we missed most when we left.

Blur Motion

Blur Motion is a photo in which you take while something is in motion. it also comes with a blurred effect because it was in motion.
You need a subject and that subject to be doing something. for example they could be running or riding a bike or doing some kind of movement that will come out blurry in the photo.
My subject will be someone that's in my group and they'll be walking up the stairs or just walking really fast in the hallways.
You adjust the shutter speed on the camera. the shutter speed needs to be open long enough for the motion so be captured.

Advance Lighting Techniques

I think that they move the light source really fast while they take a picture.
Graffiti Art its called this because its the way graffiti artists use when they paint
The shutter speed is really slow so in the moment you move the flashlight around and it captures all the movement happening in between that shutter.
Color does affect the way a viewer sees an image because it can make them feel a certain way.
Colors do resemble emotions in the way of making the subject looking sad in blue lighting or mad in red or loving in pink.
You can add a color by overlaying it in photoshop or using colored lightbulbs.
Strand lights make an image
you reflect light with a cd and you also get a rainbow effect on the subject.

Independent Project Proposal

The type of photography i picked was Street art photography. They are pictures im going to take in Downtown of graffati or mural's on the sides of buildings.
i am going to shoot these images by finding art that i wanna shoot and take different pictures from different angles and see which one i liked better.
i don't really need anything specific for my images because i can also shoot during the night with the flash.
i am going to shoot these images all around downtown because they're are a lot of mural's and graffiti on the building and stuff.
i wanted to try this type of photography because i really like art and i wanted to capture the beauty they have instead of just ignoring it and considering it as vandalism.
