This is the Altered Photos project. we took normal photos and altered them in either adding something on it or changing the way it looks by adding something onto it.
this was an assignment where we changed the color of the photo, added color onto it, or put a "cracked" effect on it.
These images were succesful because they show what the assignment requiered, Also they look better than the other ones because i took the time to edit it as best i could
these images werent as successful because they dont look as good as the other ones and they look poorly edited.
i would take my time when editing them and making them look a little more realistic instead of quickly and rushed edited.
this project taught me how to add affects onto photos. Also that it isnt as easy as it seems and to be payient when trying to things like this.
this is the blur motion project. we took photos in the middle of a motion and tried to capture the blur of that movement at the perfect moment.

these images were successful because they show that blur effect on the movement
these images werent successful because they are too blurry and are just not as good as they couldve been
i would make sure that my settings were right and i wasnt rushing and being way to impatient and just taken my time
this project taught me how to make some decent blur motion and how its not that easy learning to do it yourself.
this is the forced perspective project. we took photos at a certain angle or spot to trick the eye into believing what they see instead of know.
these images were successful because they look like jennifer is really small and
these images werent successful because they dont look realistic and look like they were off by just little
i wouldve made sure i was at the right distance and i was as the right distance and tried different positions
this project taugh me how to trick the eye to see something that wouldnt be possible. also how different angels and distances can manipulate the way a image is seen.
this is the advanced lighting project. we used different colored lights and different types of lights like christmas lights, cd glares and the flashes on our phone.
these images were successful but they captured the rainbow glare the cd gave off and the portraits had the colored lights
these images were not successful because the timing was off when we were talking the images and the effect wasnt showing enough
i would make sure to time the image correctly and be patient. i would also find a way to make the colors more vibrant.
this project taught me how to do graffiti art on images with thw flashlights on our phones. also how to have a rainbow effect of the image
this is the still life project. we used random objects and put in blank backgrounds and tried to make them all come together
these images were successful because they were clear and looked really good than the others
these images were not successful because they were blurry and didnt really look the way wanted them to
i would use a different variety of things instead of just the same thing. i would also make sure that the camera is in focus while im taking the photos
this project taught me how different random thing can come together to make something beautiful you wouldnt expect.
this is my second independent project. i decided to take pictures of the view on top of a hill in durango colorado. it had a flower feild which i also took photos of
i decided to do this for my project because the scenery was so beautiful and i really wanted to capture it.
these images were successful because the images were clear and everything looked so pretty
these images were not successful because i didnt like the angle they were in and and some just didnt look right
i would change the angles they were taken in and i wouldve used a different place of scenery
this project taught me how to really capture the beauty in a place wherever i am
this is my first independent project. i decided to do graffiti art for it and i went downtown to look for art.
i decided to do this for my project because i always liked graffiti and a lot of people see it as vandelism but i see it as art because it takes a lot of skill to do it so neatly and make it actually look good
these images were successful because i feel like i really captured it well. also theyre really well drawn.
these images were not successful because i dont really like the way they came out. they look to be a bit blurry and i feel like i didnt really capture what was there
i would probably not go so late in the night to take these photos and i wouldve gone to more places other than just downtown
this project taught me that there is a certain type of beauty in everything. although they look messy theyre actually really beautiful.
this is my third independent project. i used photos from the ballon fiesta when they were launching into the air and when they were already up
i decided to do this as my project because it was my first time going to the balloon fiesta and i really like how they all looked in the air and i just thought it was so pretty
these images were successful because they were clear and just captured my expierience really good.
these images werent successful because i think there was too many people in the photo and they look a bit blurry
i would take these images a bit more up close and again made sure they were in focus

this is my fourth independent project. i used photos from different morning and evening sunrises and sunsets.
i decided to do tis as my project because i had a lot of different pictures like these and a lot of them were stunning
these images were successful because i believe they were taken at the perfect time of the day
these images were not successful because i don't think they're as vibrant as the other ones and the power lines are very distracting
i would take these images either a bit earlier or later than i did and i would also try to find a place where there isn't anything in the way
this project taught me that there really is a golden hour during the dy you just have to find it.
